Once upon a time in a city not so far away there was a shelter with many dogs and cats of all ages. One spring day three women came into the shelter to find a dog for one of the ladies, her dog had been very sick, was very old and she had to put her beloved dog down the day before. This lady had many sad things happening in her life, she had lost her brother, father, just lost her mother and she was sick and scared. One of the other ladies was her sister and it was her idea to go and get a new dog, they walked around the shelter looking at all the beautiful dogs, some were puppies some were full grown, some were very old, all were very cute. After a few minutes of looking, she saw this large fuzzy brown puppy and asked if she could hold it, the shelter lady said yes and headed to the cage, but just then Cynthia saw a cage near the back in the corner in the dark, it had two small, very very small puppies in it and they were sick and looked like they were dying. She went over to the cage in the corner, in the back and in the dark and saw that these two puppies needed to be rescued right away or they would die. Cynthia did not want two dogs but just couldn't leave one of them there, so, she took both of the puppies. The shelter lady opened the cage and handed them to Cynthia, she took them to the front desk and paid for the puppies, promised to get them fixed as soon as they get old enough
